James Wesley Harned Member

About

Wes is a member of Rose Camenisch Stewart Mains PLLC. Immediately prior to joining the Firm in March 2017, Wes was an associate in the Lexington, Kentucky office of a regional law firm, where he practiced primarily healthcare and medical malpractice litigation.  Prior to that, Wes was an associate in a boutique bankruptcy and litigation firm in Lexington, where he focused his practice in the areas of general civil, commercial and bankruptcy litigation.  While Wesley’s practice at Rose Camenisch Stewart Mains PLLC concentrates mostly on general civil, commercial, tort, and bankruptcy litigation, he represents local business and professional clients in business transactions and other business-related legal matters as well.

Wes is a native Kentuckian–born in Bowling Green and raised in Elizabethtown.  Wes attended the University of Kentucky and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) in 2005, followed by a Master of Business Administration Degree in 2006.  Wes obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2009.  While attending the College of Law, he served on the Kentucky Law Journal.

Wes is an avid supporter of local programs aimed at educating Fayette County grade school and high school students about personal finance and financial awareness.  He has been a volunteer presenter on financial awareness at local high schools as part of the Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) program and at local grade schools as part of Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass.  Wes enjoys spending free time with his wife, young son and daughter, and their Weimaraner named Blue.
